Mental Health Counselor
Bonnie Ruechel, LPC-IT
I have worked in the mental health field for over 17 years. My experience includes working in various mental health settings including inpatient, outpatient, and community non-profit agencies.
I will provide individuals a safe place to process their trauma so they can live life again. I welcome all individuals who are in need of support for anxiety, depression, grief , trauma and PTSD.
I spent my entire adult life surrounded by law enforcement and first responders. As the wife of a retired Sheriff Deputy, I have a good understanding of the challenges faced by those who give in service to others. Understanding the sacrifices they make on a daily basis is the reason my population of choice is first responders, families of first responders, and military personnel. My specialty consists of working with those living with trauma and PTSD.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as Brainspotting. I use both these techniques on a daily basis with impressive results in a short period of time. Using these techniques allows individuals to process traumatic experiences with very little talk therapy.
